Carrols Restaurant retires $2 million 9% notes

New York, Aug. 6 - Carrols Restaurant Group, Inc. purchased and retired $2 million of its 9% senior subordinated notes due 2013 for $1.8 million during the first six months of 2008, according to a 10-Q filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The buyback took place in an open-market transaction.

Carrols is a Syracuse, N.Y.-based restaurant company that operates Burger King, Taco Cabana and Pollo Tropical restaurants.
