Radio One buys back $8 million of its 8 7/8 notes

Chicago, Aug. 5 - Radio One Inc. said it redeemed $8 million of its previously outstanding $300 million of 8 7/8% senior subordinated notes.

After the redemption, $292 million remains outstanding as of June 30.

Radio One is a Washington-based broadcasting company.
