Mesa Air may now issue shares for convertibles put

New York, May 14 - Mesa Air Group Inc. announced that shareholders have approved the issue of additional common shares that may be necessary to repurchase its senior convertible notes due 2023.

The company said that if holders require the company to purchase all or some of the notes on June 16, it may now elect to issue shares for the put notes.

Phoenix-based Mesa operates 181 aircraft.
