Pasadena, Calif., to call $135.5 million in series 2006B auction-rate COPs

New York, April 1 - Pasadena, Calif., is set to call $135.5 million in series 2006B auction-rate certificates of participation on April 29, according to a call notice released Tuesday.

The city plans to issue 2008A variable-rate refunding bonds to refund the 2006B auction-rate bonds, the call notice said.

Banc of America Securities is the lead manager for the offering of the 2008A bonds. The full terms of the series 2008A bonds have not yet been set, according to the call notice.

Public Financial Management is the financial adviser for the offering.
