Providence Health System, Ore., to extend auction-rate period, tender $50 million revenue bonds

Springdale, Ark., March 28 - Providence Health System plans to extend the auction-rate period and tender $50 million outstanding revenue bonds.

The series 2003E revenue bonds, sold through the Hospital Facility Authority of Clackamas County, Ore., are expected to be extended to a 210-day auction period on March 31, according to a notice released Thursday.

The bonds can be tendered through Oct. 27, 2008.
