Mississippi Department of Corrections special obligation auction-rate bonds to be redeemed

Springdale, Ark., March 25 - The Mississippi Development Bank plans to redeem special obligation auction-rate bonds on April 23, according to a notice released Monday.

The series 2004A bonds were priced for the Mississippi Department of Corrections for the Walnut Grove Correctional Facility refunding project.

The bonds mature Oct. 1, 2019.

The series 2004B bonds were priced for the corrections department's Marshall County Correctional Facility refunding project.

The bonds mature Oct. 1, 2014.

The dollar amount of the redemption was not immediately available.
