Denver to redeem $552.9 million revenue and revenue refunding bonds

Springdale, Ark., March 25 - The city and county of Denver expect to redeem $552.9 million of revenue and revenue refunding bonds in late March and April.

The bonds were sold for the Aviation Department Airport System, according to a notice released Monday.

The partial redemption includes $200 million series 2001C1-C4 PARS rate subordinate revenue refunding bonds due 2022.

The C1 bonds will be redeemed on March 31, the C2 bonds on April 2, the C-3 bonds on April 14 and the C-4 bonds on April 16.

The city also will redeem series 2002A1-A3 auction-rate bonds that are due 2032.

The $66.9 million series 2002A1 bonds will be redeemed on April 16; the $102.6 million series 2002A2 bonds will be redeemed on April 15; and the $98.125 million series 2002A3 bonds will be redeemed on April 15.

Denver also will redeem series 2005B1 and 2005B2 auction-rate revenue bonds that are due 2017.

The $42.625 million B1 bonds will be redeemed on April 18, and the $42.65 million B2 auction-rate bonds will be redeemed on April 17.
