East Bay Municipal Utility District to redeem $100 million in series 2005 auction-rate bonds

New York, March 24 - The East Bay Municipal Utility District in California intends to redeem $100 million in series 2005 water system subordinated revenue bonds.

The affected debt is auction-rate securities.

The bonds will be redeemed March 27 at par, according to a notice of redemption.

The redemption impacts $50 million in series 2005C-1 bonds and $50 million in series 2005C-2 bonds. Both bonds are due on June 1, 2035.
