St. Petersburg Health Facilities Authority postpones bid for series 2007A revenue bonds

By Sheri Kasprzak

New York, March 18 - The City of St. Petersburg Health Facilities Authority in Florida has put plans to buy back its outstanding $61.575 million in series 2007A health facilities revenue bonds, a notice said Tuesday.

"The borrower currently is unable to submit bids in the upcoming auction on Wednesday, March 19, 2008, as stated in its notice filed March 17, 2008, which is hereby withdrawn," the notice said. "The borrower remains committed to pursuing the purchase through the auction of the series 2007A bonds at the earliest possible date."

The authority had previously said it intended to submit bids at the auction for the remainder of its 2007A health facilities revenue bonds at the next auction.

The bonds were issued for the Children's Hospital, Inc. obligated group project.
