Nashville and Davidson County, Tenn., to redeem water and sewer revenue refunding bonds

Knoxville, Tenn., March 12 - The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County in Tennessee announced that it plans to redeem all of its outstanding water and sewer revenue refunding bonds, series 1998A, on April 14.

The bonds, which were issued on Feb. 1, 1998, are being redeemed at 101% plus interest up to the redemption date.

The amounts being redeemed are $4.9 million of its 4.625% notes due Jan. 1, 2011, $5.125 million of its 4.75% notes due Jan. 1, 2012, $5.365 million of its 4.75% notes due Jan. 1, 2013, $5.625 million of its 4.75% notes due Jan. 1, 2014, $5.89 million of its 4.75% notes due Jan. 1, 2015, $12.445 million of its 5% notes due Jan. 1, 2016, $13.035 million of its 5% notes due Jan. 1, 2017, $13.71 million of its 5% notes due Jan. 1, 2018, $14.375 million of its 5% notes due Jan. 1, 2019 and $47.305 million of its 4.75% notes due Jan. 1, 2022.
