Targa repurchases $40.9 million of its 8¼% senior notes due 2016

Knoxville, Tenn., Dec. 17 - Targa Resources Partners LP announced it has repurchased $40.9 million of its 8¼% senior notes due 2016 in open-market transactions for $28.6 million, including $1.8 million in interest.

The notes will be retired.

Targa Resources may continue to repurchase its notes.

Targa is a Houston-based natural gas company.
