Mueller Industries buys back $122.9 million more of its 6% debentures

Knoxville, Tenn., Oct. 10 - Mueller Industries, Inc. said it bought back $122.9 million of its 6% subordinated debentures for $106.6 million, or 84% of par. There are $148.7 million in debentures remaining outstanding.

On April 25, the company said it paid a total of $23 million for $25.5 million of the debentures. It paid $500,000 for $700,000 in debentures in the second quarter.

Mueller is a Memphis, Tenn.-based manufacturer and seller of copper, brass, plastic and aluminum products.
