Charlotte, N.C., to redeem $43.65 million variable-rate bonds Nov. 5

Tupelo, Miss., Oct. 2 - Charlotte, N.C., intends to redeem the $43.65 million outstanding from its series 1999D and 2004D variable-rate bonds on Nov. 5, according to a notice released Thursday.

The redemptions include the $28.805 million remaining from the series 1999D variable-rate airport revenue bonds and the $14.845 million outstanding in series 2004D variable-rate airport revenue bonds.

The city plans to redeem the bonds with proceeds from the sale of its series 2008D variable-rate airport refunding revenue bonds.
