Grande Communications receives consents to amend 14% notes

New York, July 17 - Grande Communications Holdings Inc. said it received the necessary consents to amend its 14% senior secured notes due 2011.

The San Marcos, Texas-based internet, local and long-distance telephone and cable television company was seeking consents to amend the debt covenant of the indenture to permit the previously announced issue of $25 million of additional senior secured notes.

Grande Communications needed consents from holders of a majority of notes.

The solicitation ended at the close of business on July 17, when holders of a majority of notes had consented. It was set to end at the earlier of 5 p.m. ET on Aug. 12 or when holders of a majority of notes delivered consents.

The company will provide additional information if requested (512 878-4000, attention: Michael Wilfley).
