Hayes Lemmerz swaps out $5 million 10½% notes for shares

Seattle, Feb. 26 - Hayes Lemmerz International, Inc. issued 1,049,020 shares of its common stock in exchange for $5 million principal amount of subsidiary HLI Operating Co., Inc.'s 10½% senior notes due 2010 on Monday, according to an 8-K report filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Hayes Lemmerz is a Northville, Mich.-based supplier of automotive and commercial highway wheels, brakes, powertrain, suspension, structural and other lightweight components.
