Domtar calls its series A, B preferreds

Chicago, Nov. 26 - Domtar Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Domtar Corp., said it sent redemption notices to holders of its series A preferred shares and series B preferred shares.

The redemption date for both series of preferreds is Dec. 21.

The company said it will pay C$25.4932 per share for the series A preferreds, which represents the redemption price of C$25.00 plus accrued dividends of C$0.4932, accruing as of and from the last dividend payment date of Oct. 2.

For the series B preferreds, the payout is C$25.2466 per share, or the redemption price of C$25.00 plus accrued dividends of C$0.2466, accruing as of and from Oct. 2.
