Dobson calls 12¼%, 13% exchangeable preferred stock

New York, Jan. 25 - Dobson Communications Corp. said it will redeem all its $5 million of 12¼% exchangeable preferred stock and $28 million of 13% exchangeable preferred stock on March 1.

The 12¼% preferreds will be redeemed at $1,219.53 per share, equivalent to the liquidation preference plus accrued dividends up to but excluding the redemption date.

For the 13% preferreds, the price is $1,269.93 per share, calculated as 104.333% of the liquidation preference plus accrued dividends up to but excluding the redemption date.

Dobson is an Oklahoma City-based wireless phone company.
