EchoStar calls all $500 million floating-rate notes due 2008

Seattle, Sept. 5 - EchoStar Communications Corp. said its subsidiary, EchoStar DBS Corp., will redeem all of its outstanding floating-rate senior notes due 2008 on Oct. 1.

The $500 million principal amount of notes will be redeemed at 101% for a total of $505 million, according to a company news release. Noteholders will also receive interest through Oct. 1.

The trustee for the notes is U.S. Bank NA (800 934-6802).

EchoStar Communications is an Englewood, Colo.-based satellite TV company that operates DISH Network.
