Agilent issues 14.5 million shares for $466 million 3% convertibles ahead of redemption

New York, Sept. 12 - Agilent Technologies Inc. said holders of $466 million of its $1.125 billion of 3% senior convertible debentures due 2021 converted their securities into 14.5 million of the company's shares.

The conversion price was $32.22 per share. The company's stock closed at $33.32 per share on Monday.

The company redeemed the remaining $684 million of debentures at par plus accrued interest up to but not including the Sept. 9 redemption date.

Citibank NA was the trustee.

Agilent Technologies, a Palo Alto, Calif., diversified technology company that provides communications and electronics services, called the debentures on Aug. 25.

As of Sept. 9, Agilent said it had about 509 million shares outstanding.
