Lyondell calls remaining $200 million 9 7/8% notes

New York, July 28 - Lyondell Chemical Co. said it is redeeming all $200 million of its 9 7/8% senior secured series B notes due 2007 at 102.469% of par.

The Houston company will repay the notes on Aug. 29.

On April 1, the company announced the redemption of $300 million of the notes also at 102.469% of the principal amount.

Lyondell, which manufactures basic chemicals and derivatives, has now called all $1 billion of the notes.
