Massey Energy buys back $19.1 million 6.95% notes

New York, April 28 - Massey Energy Co. said it bought back $19.1 million principal amount of its 6.95% senior notes on April 1.

The Richmond, Va., coal mining company paid $19.8 million for the securities plus accrued interest.
