Hexcel to retire $185.3 million 9¾% notes using 6¾% note offering proceeds

Pittsburgh, Feb. 1 - Hexcel Corp. said it will retire $185.3 million of its 9¾% senior subordinated notes due 2009 using $194.9 million of the proceeds from its offering of $225 million 6¾% senior subordinated notes due 2015.

The notes will be redeemed March 3 on a pro rata basis at a price of 103.9% plus accrued interest.

After the redemption, $100 million of the 9¾% notes will be outstanding.
