Argo-Tech extends consent solicitation for 9¼% notes

New York, Oct. 20 - Argo-Tech Corp. said it has extended its solicitation of consents to amend its $250 million principal amount of 9¼% senior notes due 2011.

The expiration date is now 5 p.m. ET on Oct. 26, a week later than the original 5 p.m. ET on Oct. 19.

As of the old deadline, holders had delivered consents for $158.8 million or 63.52% of the notes.

As announced on Oct. 6, the Cleveland-based maker of fuel flow devices and systems for aerospace and general industrial applications is seeking to amend the indenture and to waive the requirement that it make a change-of-control offer following completion of the sale of its parent company, AT Holdings Corp., to V.G.A.T. Investors, LLC, an entity newly formed by Greenbriar Equity Group LLC and Vestar Capital Partners IV, LP.

Holders who consent will receive $2.50 per $1,000 principal amount.
