Southern California Edison calls all 8% series 2003A bonds, $649.95 million 8% series 2003B bonds

Pittsburgh, Dec. 23 - Southern California Edison said it plans to redeem all its outstanding 8% series 2003A bonds due 2007 and $649.95 million of its 8% series 2003B bonds due 2007 on Jan. 25 at a "make-whole" redemption price to be determined on the third business day prior to the redemption date.

Southern California Edison may cancel the redemption by written notice to the trustee and holders of the bonds at any time prior to 10 days before the redemption date.

Southern California Edison is a Rosemead, Calif.-based electric utility.
