Dick's Sporting Goods looks to amend 2.375% convertibles
New York, Dec. 9 - Dick's Sporting Goods, Inc. said it has begun a solicitation of consents to amend its 2.375% convertible senior notes due 2024.
The company is seeking to eliminate the prohibition on paying cash if the notes are converted when a default has occurred.
The Pittsburgh sporting goods retailer will pay a fee of $1.69 per $1,000 principal amount for consents.
The solicitation runs through 5 p.m. ET on Dec. 22.
