Nexstar Broadcasting to redeem 12% notes

Pittsburgh, Dec. 8 - Nexstar Broadcasting Group Inc. said it will redeem its 12% senior subordinated notes on or after April 1, 2005.

"[The redemption] would generate substantial free cash flow benefits for the company going forward," chairman, president and chief executive officer Perry A. Sook said in a company news release.

Nexstar Broadcasting is an Irving, Texas, television broadcasting company.
