SBS Broadcasting buys back €19.5 million notes

New York, July 27 - SBS Broadcasting SA said it has bought back a total of €19.5 million of its 12% senior notes due 2008 in recent months.

During July, the Luxembourg television operator bought back €5.0 million of the notes.

In May and June 2004, SBS bought €14.5 million, recording a loss of €2.5 million on the extinguishment of debt.
