Grohe says company's buyers tendering for 11½% notes

New York, June 8 - Grohe AG (B2) said that it has learned that an offer was made on June 1 to purchase all of the company's outstanding 11½% senior notes due 2010, in connection with the previously announced acquisition of Grohe by an investor consortium led by Texas Pacific Group and Credit Suisse First Boston Private Equity.

Grohe, a Hemer, Germany-based maker of bathroom fixtures and other types of sanitary technology, said that terms of the offer are described in an offer document dated June 1.

It said that it has no objection to the acceptance of the offer by noteholders.

Grohe issued €200 million of the notes in October 2000.
