Millicom calls 2% convertibles

New York, March 19 - Millicom International Cellular SA said it will redeem the $61 million principal amount outstanding of its 2% senior convertibles PIK notes due 2006 on April 26.

Millicom is a Bertrange, Luxembourg telecommunications investor.
