California calls $98.05 million from three series of prison bonds

Norfolk, Va., April 30 - The State Public Works Board of the State of California Department of Correction called $98.05 million of its lease revenue bonds issued for the California State Prison, according to multiple notices.

The following 1993 series E bonds issued for the Madera County (II) prison will be redeemed:

• $10.58 million of 5% bonds due June 1, 2015.

The following 1993 series D bonds issued for the Lassen County, Susanville prison will be redeemed:

• $18,575,000 of 5.25% bonds due June 1, 2015.

The following 2004 series E bonds issued for the Lassen County, Susanville prison will be redeemed:

• $2,905,000 of 3.5% bonds due June 1, 2015;

• $2.5 million of 5% bonds due June 1, 2015;

• $20.14 million of 5% bonds due June 1, 2016;

• $20.96 million of 5% bonds due June 1, 2017;

• $185,000 of 3.75% bonds due June 1, 2017; and

• $22,205,000 of 5% bonds due June 1, 2018.

The bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest on June 1.

The Treasurer of the State of California is the trustee.
