Pioneer Energy calls $200.53 million of 9 7/8% senior notes due 2018

Norfolk, Va., April 1 - Pioneer Energy Services Corp. announced the redemption of $200,528,000 of its 9 7/8% senior notes due 2018 following a tender offer, according to a press release.

The notes will be redeemed at 104.938 plus accrued interest on May 1.

As of Tuesday, there was about $325,528,000 outstanding under the notes. This follows the receipt of tenders for $99,472,000 of the $425 million of the notes by the early tender deadline, 5 p.m. ET on March 17. The company was tendering $300 million of the notes.

Wells Fargo Bank, NA is the trustee.

Pioneer Energy is a San Antonio-based drilling services company.
