Albemarle Hospital, N.C., defeases 2007 health care facilities bonds

Norfolk, Va., March 5 - The Albemarle Hospital Authority, N.C., defeased its series 2007 health care facilities revenue and revenue refunding bonds, according to a notice.

The 5% bonds that mature Oct. 1, 2014 through 2017 will be redeemed on their respective maturity dates.

The 5.25% bonds that are due Oct. 1, 2021, 2027 and 2038 will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest on Oct. 1, 2017.

The bonds were originally issued in the total amount of $57.76 million.

U.S. Bank, NA is the escrow agent and bond trustee.
