California's $428.29 million of 2005 G.O.s have mandatory tender

Norfolk, Va., Feb. 24 - The State of California said its series 2005A2-1, 2005B1, 2005B3 and 2005B5 variable-rate general obligation notes are subject to mandatory tender, according to a notice.

The state will purchase $143.2 million of 2005A2-1 bonds, $147.1 million of 2005B1 bonds, $49.1 million of 2005B3 bonds and $88.89 million of 2005B5 bonds on March 26.

The bonds will be purchased at par plus accrued interest to the purchase date.

U.S. Bank NA is the tender agent.
