US Airways retires $12 million more 7.25% convertibles via exchange

Chicago, Sept. 9 - US Airways Group, Inc. retired another $12 million principal amount of its 7.25% convertible senior notes due 2014 through an exchange agreement with a holder on Monday, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The company agreed to issue 2,625,820 common shares.

US Airways retired $10 million of the convertibles through an exchange agreement on Aug. 30, and the holder received 2,188,184 shares of common stock.

US Airways is an airline based in Tempe, Ariz.
