Hamilton County, Ohio, defeases two series of sewer system bonds

Madison, Wis., Aug. 7 - The County of Hamilton, Ohio, said it defeased its 2003 series A sewer system improvement and refunding revenue bonds and 2004 series A sewer system refunding revenue bonds issued for the Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati.

Specifically, the county defeased its $112.72 million outstanding 2003A bonds maturing after Dec. 1, 2014, excluding a $750,000 term bond due 2028, and its $28.47 million outstanding 2004A bonds maturing after Dec. 1, 2015.

The defeased bonds will be redeemed on Dec. 1 at par.
