New York City calls $40.85 million of 2004 series E G.O. bonds

Madison, Wis., July 19 - The City of New York will redeem a portion of its fiscal 2004 series E general obligation bonds totaling $40.85 million on Aug. 1.

The following bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date:

• $9,915,000 of 4.5% bonds due Aug. 1, 2015;

• $18,815,000 of 5.25% bonds due Aug. 1, 2014; and

• $12.12 million of 4.4% bonds due Aug. 1, 2014.

Bank of New York Mellon is the trustee agent.
