American Overseas pays $225,000 to buy back some class B preferreds

Tacoma, Wash., July 18 - American Overseas Group Ltd.'s operating subsidiary, American Overseas Reinsurance Co. Ltd., repurchased nine shares of its class B preference shares from a holder, according to a company news release.

The company paid $25,000 per preferred for a total of $225,000.

The repurchase closed on July 18.

American Overseas Group is a Hamilton, Bermuda-based holding company. American Overseas Reinsurance provides financial guaranty reinsurance and short-tail non-catastrophe property/casualty reinsurance.
