New Jersey defeases $184.85 million 2009B University of Medicine bonds

Minneapolis, July 9 - New Jersey Educational Facilities Authority defeased $184,845,000 of its series 2009B revenue refunding bonds issued for the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, according to a notice.
The following will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest on June 1, 2019:
• $10,725,000 of 6.5% bonds due Dec. 1, 2019;
• $10.3 million of 6.5% bonds due Dec. 1, 2020;
• $29,685,000 of 7.125% bonds due Dec. 1, 2023; and
• $134,135,000 of 7.5% bonds due Dec. 1, 2032.
U.S. Bank NA is the trustee.
The New Jersey Educational Facilities Authority is located in Princeton, N.J. The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey is a Newark, N.J.-based health sciences institution.
