Virginia authority defeases Hampton Roads Proton Beam Therapy bonds

Madison, Wis., June 3 - Virginia Small Business Financing Authority gave notice that it defeased its Hampton Roads Proton Beam Therapy Institute at Hampton University, LLC Project revenue bonds, series 2009, on May 30.

The defeased bonds, which include $4,435,000 of bonds due July 1, 2019 and $48.97 million of bonds due July 1, 2039, will be redeemed on July 1, 2014 at a redemption price of 102.
