Sacramento Municipal Utility defeases 2003 series R electric bonds

Minneapolis, May 29 - The Sacramento Municipal Utility District, Calif., partially defeased its 2003 series R electric revenue refunding bonds, according to a notice.
The following will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest on Aug. 15:
• $6.85 million of bonds due Aug. 15, 2016;
• $330,000 of bonds due Aug. 15, 2017;
• $6.86 million of bonds due Aug. 15, 2017;
• $7,545,000 of bonds due Aug. 15, 2018;
• $7.92 million of bonds due Aug. 15, 2019;
• $10,575,000 of bonds due Aug. 15, 2020;
• $11,105,000 of bonds due Aug. 15, 2021;
• $8,255,000 of bonds due Aug. 15, 2022;
• $760,000 of bonds due Aug. 15, 2023;
• $5.3 million of bonds due Aug. 15, 2023;
• $3.05 million of bonds due Aug. 15, 2024;
• $3.2 million of bonds due Aug. 15, 2025;
• $1.53 million of bonds due Aug. 15, 2028;
• $10,105,000 of bonds due Aug. 15, 2028; and
• $21.43 million of bonds due Aug. 15, 2033.
