Collier County, Fla., defeases 2005 Florida capital improvement bonds

Madison, Wis., April 19 - Collier County, Fla., said it defeased its Florida capital improvement and refunding revenue bonds, series 2005.
The defeased bonds will be redeemed on Oct. 1, 2014 at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date.
The refunded bonds are
• $7.24 million of 4.25% bonds due Oct. 1, 2025;
• $4,395,000 of 4.375% bonds due Oct. 1, 2026;
• $4,585,000 of 4.375% bonds due Oct. 1, 2027;
• $4,785,000 of 4.5% bonds due Oct. 1, 2028;
• $10,225,000 of 4.5% bonds due Oct. 1, 2030;
• $5.46 million of 4.5% bonds due Oct. 1, 2031; and
• $24,455,000 of 4.625% bonds due Oct. 1, 2035.
