Angiotech calls all 9% floaters due 2013, 9% senior notes due 2016

San Luis Obispo, Calif., April 15 - Angiotech Pharmaceuticals, Inc. plans to redeem the remaining $44,024,000 of its senior secured floating-rate notes due 2013, according to a press release.

The company also said it will fully redeem the outstanding $229,413,000 of 9% senior notes due 2016 issued by Angiotech Pharmaceuticals (US), Inc.

Both series will be redeemed May 13 at par plus accrued interest.

Deutsche Bank National Trust Co. is the trustee.

Angiotech makes medical devices and is based in Vancouver, B.C.
