Los Angeles MTA defeases $68.08 million 2004-A proposition C bonds

Minneapolis, Dec. 19 - The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority defeased $68,075,000 of its series 2004-A proposition C sales tax second senior bonds, according to a notice.
The following will be redeemed at par on July 1, 2014:
• $4,355,000 of bonds due July 1, 2015;
• $4.51 million of bonds due July 1, 2016;
• $4,735,000 of bonds due July 1, 2017;
• $4.97 million of bonds due July 1, 2018;
• $5.22 million of bonds due July 1, 2019;
• $5.48 million of bonds due July 1, 2020;
• $5.74 million of bonds due July 1, 2021;
• $6,015,000 of bonds due July 1, 2022;
• $6.3 million of bonds due July 1, 2023;
• $6.6 million of bonds due July 1, 2024;
• $6.91 million of bonds due July 1, 2025; and
• $7.24 million of bonds due July 1, 2026.
U.S. Bank NA is the trustee and escrow agent.
