Fairfax County, Va., redeems its Fairfax Hospital, Inova Health bonds

Minneapolis, Dec. 17 - The Industrial Development Authority of Fairfax County, Va., redeemed its variable-rate demand obligation revenue bonds and health care revenue bonds issued for the Fairfax Hospital System, Inc. and Inova Health System Project, according to a notice.

The following were redeemed at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date:

• $6.5 million of 1988A Fairfax Hospital variable-rate bonds;

• $6.6 million of 1988B Fairfax Hospital variable-rate bonds;

• $6.4 million of 1988C Fairfax Hospital variable-rate bonds;

• $6.4 million of 1988C Fairfax Hospital variable-rate bonds;

• $19 million of 2000 Inova Health variable-rate bonds;

• $845,000 of 2005A-1 Inova Health revenue bonds;

• $845,000 of 2005A-2 Inova Health revenue bonds;

• $16.47 million of 2005C-1 Inova Health revenue bonds; and

• $16.47 million of 2005C-2 Inova Health revenue bonds.

The series 2000 Inova Health bonds were redeemed on Dec. 6, while the rest were redeemed on Dec. 4.
