Callon Petroleum plans to redeem $48.48 million 13% notes in December

New York, Nov. 15 - Callon Petroleum Corp. gave notice to American Stock Transfer & Trust Co., LLC as trustee that it intends to redeem $48,480,500 of its $96,961,000 of outstanding 13% senior notes due 2016, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The company said it expects to redeem the notes at 103.25 plus accrued interest on Dec. 17.

Callon is an independent oil and natural gas company based in Natchez, Miss.
