North Carolina Medical Care calls all 2008C University Health bonds

Madison, Wis., Nov. 1 - North Carolina Medical Care Commission will redeem in full its series 2008C University Health Systems of Eastern Carolina health care facilities revenue refunding bonds on Dec. 1, according to a notice.

The following bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date:

• $825,000 of 5.05% bonds due Dec. 1, 2014;

• $835,000 of 5.25% bonds due Dec. 1, 2015;

• $930,000 of 5.45% bonds due Dec. 1, 2016;

• $1 million of 5.6% bonds due Dec. 1, 2017;

• $1.06 million of 5.75% bonds due Dec. 1, 2018;

• $7.8 million of 6.25% bonds due Dec. 1, 2023;

• $8,515,000 of 6.4% bonds due Dec. 1, 2026; and

• $50.56 million of 6.6% bonds due Dec. 1, 2036.

University Health Systems is currently named Vidant Health and is based in Greenville, N.C. The commission is based in Raleigh, N.C.
