Freescale Semiconductor to partially redeem 9¼% notes via new offering

Minneapolis, Oct. 28 - Freescale Semiconductor, Ltd. plans to redeem a portion of its outstanding 9¼% senior secured notes due 2018 with the proceeds from a new offering, according to a press release.

Freescale is an Austin, Texas-based designer and manufacturer of embedded semiconductors for the automotive, consumer, industrial, networking and wireless markets.
