California Public Works Board calls, defeases some university bonds

Minneapolis, Oct. 3 - The State Public Works Board of the State of California defeased and called various lease revenue bonds issued for the University of California, according to multiple notices.

The following bonds were affected:

• $73,825,000 of 1997 series A bonds;

• $279,825,000 of 2005 series D bonds;

• $132.33 million of 2005 series L research projects bonds;

• $70,845,000 of 2006 series E bonds;

• $166,125,000 of 2007 series A bonds;

• $78.31 million of 2007 series C bonds;

• $234,925,000 of 2008 series A UC Irvine Medical Center Replacement Hospital bonds;

• $149.64 million of 2009 series E bonds;

• $65.23 million of 2010 series C-1 tax-exempt bonds;

• $149.62 million of 2010 series C-2 federally taxable Build America Bonds;

• $50,485,000 of 2010 series D federally taxable bonds for the Helios Energy Research Institute;

• $295.2 million of 2011 series G bonds;

• $84,015,000 of 2012 series F UCLA Replacement Hospitals bonds; and

• $77.37 million of 2013 series C Davidson Library at Santa Barbara bonds.

The Treasurer of the State of California is the escrow agent.
