California Public Works defeases $211.47 million of university bonds

Minneapolis, Oct. 2 - The State Public Works Board of the State of California defeased its 2004 series F and 2005 series C lease revenue bonds issued for the University of California, according to two notices.

The board defeased $109.3 million of its 2004 series F bonds issued for various university projects. The bonds are due Nov. 1, 2013 through 2027 and 2029 and will be paid at maturity and redeemed on Nov. 1, 2014.

The board also defeased $102,165,000 of its 2005 series C bonds issued for the University of California institute projects. The bonds are due April 1, 2014 through 2026 and 2030 and will be paid at maturity and redeemed on April 1, 2015.

The Treasurer of the State of California is the escrow agent.
