Independence, Jefferson counties, Ark., call $99.7 million Entergy bonds

Minneapolis, Jan. 9 - Independence County and Jefferson County of Arkansas called $99.7 million of Entergy Arkansas, Inc. project pollution control revenue refunding bonds, according to two notices.

Independence County will redeem $45 million of its 5% series 2005 bonds, and Jefferson County will redeem $54.7 million of its 4.6% series 2006 bonds.

The bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest on Feb. 4.

Simmons First Trust Co. is the trustee.

Entergy is a Little Rock, Ark.-based electric company.
